Scottish sketching

I'm always sketching everywhere I go, and Scotland held images and feelings I wanted to capture everywhere I looked! Above, Louise caught me sketching while waiting for a cup of coffee, outside in Edinburgh, on a beautiful sunny day during the Festival in September. I like to use water-soluble black pens, as then I can go into them later with a brush and water and add tones and textures, or add a little colour with my watercolour pencils and play around with a brush with them too.
